We all know that carrying excessive levels of fat is bad for us.
It can increase our chances of being struck down by numerous serious conditions, including diabetes, heart disease and other health issues. So, getting rid of the extra weight we’re carrying can a good idea. It just needs to be done the right way for you – and we’re not talking about dieting!
Here are some effective fast fat loss tips for you to try:
Many claim that carbs are bad HOWEVER if you want to burn fat fast and lose weight, that isn’t exactly true!
Many who go on extreme low carb diets end up feeling depressed and deprived as a result which is NOT not good! A better way to manage your carbs is by cycling them. By cycling, I mean eating more carbs on the days when you exercise and cutting down on them when you don’t. This will keep your metabolism firing on all cylinders, and you will lose fat!
Eat 15 Percent More Protein
Protein is more difficult to digest than carbs or fat, which means that you consume fewer net calories when you eat protein. That is why it makes perfect sense to up your protein by around 15 percent, lowering your intake of carbs and fats in the process. You’ll feel just as satiated but you’ll consume fewer calories, and your body will start burning more of your body fat!
Healthy fats such as olive oil, coconut oil and fish oils are good for you, especially if you are feeling stressed. This is where omega 3s can give you a real boost. But did you know they are also calorific?
You might want to consider consulting an online doctor about taking a fat digestion blocking drug like Xenical until you have gotten your weight under control. It will enable you to consume fat without taking in all the calories it contains, which could help you to restore balance.
Exercise should be a big part of firing up your fat loss, but did you know that some exercises are better at burning excess fat than others.
One of the best way to get your heart rate up to optimum fat burning levels and to keep burning calories after you’re done is interval training. High-intensity, fast-paced cardio, where you switch up the pace multiple times during your workout, has been shown to really stoke the metabolism – which is just what you want!
Too few of us lift weights, which is a shame because it’s a brilliant fat burner! When you lift weights, you build muscle and the more muscles you build, the more calories you burn – it really is that simple!
Eat a Big Breakfast
I love this one! Studies have shown that people who eat a bigger breakfast are better able to control their food intake throughout the day than those who don’t. If you eat a healthy big breakfast, you will eat fewer calories, keep your metabolism firing on all cylinders and burn more fat than your peers who eat like sparrows – or even worse – skip breakfast totally!
This is another of my personal favourites. If you don’t get at least the recommended 7-8 hours of sleep each night, not only might you feel too fatigued to exercise the next day, but your metabolism is likely to be slower, and you will probably be less sensitive to insulin. The answer? Get more sleep! I’m there!
Stress causes high levels of cortisol to be released into the bloodstream, and it can cause havoc in the body, even leading to increased cholesterol and weight. So make it a priority to minimise stress by going for long walks, meditating, relaxing with a good book – basically doing whatever you need to de-stress!
Losing fat is rarely easy, but if you design your life the right way it doesn’t have to be a long drawn out battle you don’t enjoy.
