Dreams come in all types of packaging

Dreams come in all types of packaging.

Dreams come in all types of packaging.

From foreign lands to sailing across seas to this far away country to only have to embark on a journey across a vast land to the most isolated city in the world…oh yes, they have finally arrived in Perth!

Yes, my dreams came true in the form of a dirty brown box that arrived on my doorstep just as a thunderstorm was about to hit Perth. As I cut through the sticky tape and cracked open the cardboard box, the realisation hit me that I am officially a published author [insert expletive here, purely from the sheer disbelief].

In a way I feel slightly intimidated to be featured in a book with so many influential and inspiring authors. I am also stoked, overwhelmed and very, very happy.

Janine and her book

So I may be glowing, or it could be the sheen of sweat from the humidity – regardless, it’s a poignant moment in my life…something I never believed would actually happen. I still don’t actually!

I would like to say a big, heartfelt THANK YOU for sharing my journey over the last four years – especially since May 2014 when I decided to ditch the day job with no savings and no job to go to. Your support has meant the world to me, and I definitely couldn’t have done it without you.

Who knows where the future will lead us to…
