Multi-passionate Creative, aka I do lots of things
It’s lovely to meet you!
I am a proud redhead, neurodivergent, midlife reinventor and mum to furry rescue Doberman Freya.
Additionally, I’m a multi-passionate creative.
Coach, mentor, marketer, communicator, writer, project manager, ideas generator.
I love the diversity of what I do and who I work with.
In my spare time, I can be found with my head in a book or a jigsaw puzzle, watching a film or streaming a show, listening to a podcast, fantasising about travel, or out on a nature walk with Freya or napping.
I started this blog 13 years ago.
Blogging was a way to rediscover my love for writing and process my journey through depression and leaving the corporate world in my mid-30s to start my own biz working with cause-based organisations.
My blog has evolved into a space where I share my experiences of numerous career and midlife reinventions and, more recently, my ADHD diagnosis and recovery from severe burnout.
That and how to live life more joyfully and creatively.
My writing is all about positive energy, glimmers of wisdom, and sparks of self-discovery.
I hope my words will inspire you, make you smile, and maybe even help you along your own journey.
Sidenote: I love to write, but you will find typos – this is my personal blog, and well, I have ADHD… so attention to my own detail is hit and miss. Please forgive me!
What now?
Why not hop on over to the Contact Page and email me? I’d love to hear from you!

About writing
I’ve wanted to be a writer since I was little.
I spent a lot of time with my head in a book. That and whiling away my time writing and illustrating short stories.
My genre of choice – teen adventure in the realm of Sweet Valley High and Nancy Drew.
As the years passed, I felt like I had lost my creativity and desire to write creatively.
Sucked into the corporate world and a career in IT project management, I was successful but not exactly happy.
And then, one day, when I found myself burnt out and wondering what the hell I was doing.
And so, I threw caution to the wind. I quit because life was way too short to be stressed, exhausted and unhappy.
Blogging provided me with an outlet as I healed from depression and worked through my ADHD and severe burnout diagnosis at age 45.
Blogging also introduced me to connections worldwide, like-minded people who loved writing, blogging and supporting others.
It really did change my life and inspired a career change, starting my own business, travelling, and more.
Today I use writing and the power of words to make a difference, be it to champion a cause, promote a brand, build awareness, share an impactful story or mentor and coach someone who is setting foot on their new path.
