HEY, I’M JANINE
It’s nice to e-meet you!
Let me tell you a bit about myself.
I’m a self-employed businesswoman, leader, and mentor.
I am also a proud redhead, introvert, HSP (Highly Sensitive Person), wife, step-mum and mum to our furry rescue Doberman, Freya.
Lastly, I love books, movies, podcasts, nature walks and naps.
I used to be the Queen of Burnout. No matter the job, I was always a 200% gal. I gave work everything and some.
I’ve held management positions, run programs and campaigns, started a business, juggled multiple jobs, worked in various industries across corporate and not-for-profit, and won awards.
You can get all the praise, accolades, and gratitude, but if you’re in a cycle of hard work, burnout, recovery, rinse and repeat, that’s no way to live.
There is one lesson I have learned.
It’s that health comes first.
Health is my number one priority.
My health and energy levels guide every decision I make.
This means that I say no a lot.
It also means that I say yes to the right people, projects and opportunities – and that I have the energy to do so wholeheartedly,
And do you want to know something?
I now find myself doing what I love, working with aligned people on awesome projects, making more of an impact and earning good money.
And the more I do this, the more this happens.
And it feels amazing.
What I Do
I’m a marketing and communications professional, mentor and experienced project manager.
I am passionate about working with heart-centred and neurodivergent people, organisations, and businesses who feel overwhelmed by the idea of marketing and communications, events and projects.
I also mentor people who have burnt out and want to make a change.
I genuinely care.
And I want the best outcome for people, to make positive change, and to make everything a little bit better.
